Certification Programs
Certification programs are geared towards building in house expertise through in depth functionality training, understanding of software configuration to meet specific clinical and administrative needs and access to collaborative educational tools throughout product upgrades.
We accomplish these objectives by providing candidates with an experienced GE Education Consultant who serves as a mentor through the blended learning plans.
There are two types of certification programs for Centricity Practice Solutions Practice Management:
- CPS PM Revenue Cycle Applications Specialist
This program is intended to provide organizations with in house expertise so they may implement, train and provide front line support to their own clinics. You must be employed by an organization that holds a current Support Services Contract with GE Healthcare IT for Centricity Practice Solutions to receive training and participate in the program.
- CPS PM Revenue Cycle Consultant
This program is a requirement for organizations such as VARs and ASPs who wish to implement, train and provide front line support to independent clinics with which they directly contract (their own customers). These organizations form a partnership with GE Healthcare to provide various value added services to their clientele. They may be associate, professional, or senior partners based on the services they provide. There are two types of Certification Programs for Centricity Practice Solutions EMR:
- CPS EMR Applications Specialist
This program is intended to provide organizations with in house expertise so they may implement, train and provide front line support to their own clinics. You must be employed by an organization that holds a current Support Services Contract with GE Healthcare IT for Centricity Practice Solutions to receive training and participate in the program.
- CPS EMR Clinical Consultant

New Contract Holders / ASPs
If you have recently purchased the certification you will be contacted after your formal project kick off by your GE Project Manager and/or education consultant/mentor.
Ready to Participate?
If your organization is thinking of developing in house expertise, you can begin the program in one of the following ways:
- Email elizabeth.sneed@ge.com to purchase the Initial Certification Fee. This will be invoiced to you via Paypal.
- Contact your sales representative with the part number of the certification you wish to achieve. A contract will be created for you.
